The Function of Microlenses

Microlenses are a very important component in the field of micro-optics. They are usually composed of lenses with a light aperture and relief depth at the micrometer level, capable of achieving functions such as focusing, imaging, and beam transformation. Microlens arrays can be made up of the smallest functional units such as spherical mirrors, aspheric mirrors, cylindrical lenses, and prisms, and because of their small unit size and high integration, they can form many new types of optical systems to accomplish functions that traditional optical components cannot.

The Application Range of Microlenses

The application range of microlenses is very broad, including but not limited to fields such as  medical imaging, and optical inspection. They can be used alone or in conjunction with focusing mirrors to achieve better light homogenization effects.
